The new year marks new beginnings, and as of now, I will be using a different rating system for my reviews. The CAWPILE Rating System was created by G at Book Roast and you can watch their video for better comprehension by clicking here.

CAWPILE is an acronym that stands for:
- Characters
- Atmosphere/Setting
- Writing Style
- Plot
- Intrigue
- Logic
- Enjoyment
This system rating is used for a better, more complex rating. Every book read will be rated on a scale of 1 to 10 in each of these seven categories. The total will then be divided by seven: wherever that result lands on the following scale is the star-rating the book will receive:
CAWPILE Result | rating | Recommendation |
---|---|---|
0-1 | ☆☆☆☆☆ | Not recommended |
1.1-2.2 | ★☆☆☆☆ | Not recommended |
2.3-4.5 | ★★☆☆☆ | Not recommended |
4.6-6.9 | ★★★☆☆ | Average recommendation |
7.0-8.9 | ★★★★☆ | Recommended |
9.0-10 | ★★★★★ | Highly recommended |
I will specify in every review how I rated the book in these seven categories, as well as give you the final star-rating.
